unemployment in August 2026, Sept not out yet, is 6.4%. 6.8% in Alberta. and 3.8% inflation in Alberta where i am. but 3.0% in Canada year over year. the feds changed the basket for inflation numbers. so this is affected. i usually look at Stats Canada for numbers but this seems accurate. sorry.
