we need a series of anti-Trump amendments; get rid of electoral college, SCOTUS term limits, an independently elected Attorney General elected at midterms, no gerrymandering, no Presidential pardons/commutations for members of an administration and all others subject to Senate approval.

Ultimately the only thing that could protect against authoritarian takeover is a well educated voterbase who invests some time and thought to understand what is in their interest. That seems to be impossible. It is extremely difficult to protect stupid median voter from themselves.

Sadly the provisions that exist to remove a corrupt president require a non corrupt congress. We'll hopefully put a check on his abuses in the next election. What we need is Americans to see accurate news. The system depends on that.
