As I recall, Republicans thought it was hilarious in 2020 when they recruited and paid a “Ghost Candidate” with the same last name as the Democrat to siphon off enough votes for their candidate to be elected to a Florida state senate seat.

How is this even legal? Is there nothing in the law that prohibits and punishes wasting the court’s time like this? Invalidate a State election only if our preferred candidate loses because a legally valid candidate shares the same legal name? There is no case here. Frivolous is an understatement

Not only does the admin have no standing but also if Peltola wins outright the majority of the votes (50% or more) or more votes than both Sullivans, the math will fall apart for this. Even the name confusion didn’t cause a problem in the primary.
