I'm thinking of migrating the database from Heroku to CrunchyData. Should I do this? Please talk me out of it 😅

Why?

That is a good question! A couple of reasons. I can create multiple databases so I can migrate to solid queue easier (Redis is overkill for my low scale app). Several people told me already that CD is way faster. The biggest reason, I'm starting to trust Heroku a bit less these days.

Did it a couple of years ago and haven’t looked back. Was a very smooth experience then - expect it only to be better now. Sorry I don’t think I can give you any good reason not to do it.

You were one of the people I know that only told me good stories!! :)

Btw, for my little database, it will be slightly more expensive. But I don't really care about price that much.
