I think this is a really well-written statement. They're putting him in his safe space for the safety of team members. They should have banned his stupid ass, self-respect should have prevented his return, but apparently having been in the NBA earns him some (wholly undeserved) deference.

They should have advised him to watch the game from the privacy of his home.
