the Gemini integration actually looks awesome. this is exactly the kind of way I imagine virtual assistants being properly useful, can't wait to see how Android XR affects affordability of more headsets

Android XR is looking better than VisionOS. This is coming from an Apple fan. I would still never pick it over VisionOS through because of the privacy issues alone. Apple is far from perfect but at least their business model doesn’t involve selling customers data. 🤷‍♂️

except siri and the app store using data for ads and still feeding your info to chatgpt for the new siri features (since siri can't do much on its own right now it's necessary)... also they INVENTED THE ADVERTISING ID IN THE FIRST PLACE, then when they remove it they're a hero??

When I saw this video the first thing that came to my mind was wow this looks so much like VisionOS. Don't get me wrong, I think Apple has a long way to go. I think a lot of features will come in future VisionOS releases. I, for one, would like to see Expose.

Definitely. I wanted to see where the improvements would be. I guess in AI. I'm not a fan. AVP works fine with my hands by my side or on a table. No fatigue. Re: ergonomics. The biggest issue is the weight. As with traditional computers, this issue will be solved over time and progressively.

You've mad your point ok? You can unfollow him now. What you said is like telling Reuters that posting urls of their news here is redundant and annoying. What else would you have a YouTuber post on SM? Your town hall meetings minutes?

No, it's like telling Reuters that posting links to their YouTube videos is redundant and annoying. The point is, we all likely follow MKBD on YouTube. Why would I want posts here that are just links to the videos I already see in my feed there?

What a stupid comment. You think that everybody who’s reading this post is subscribed? I’m not. Thousands of other people might not be. He’s trying to grow his audience. You look old enough to realize that the world doesn’t revolve around you and your experiences. Act like it.
