I had a film class at 8:00 AM the morning after the weekly screening of film class movies, which meant watching the movie, hurrying back to my dorm, dashing off a response paper, and optional sleep. I got so damn good at writing under the wire.

I got my best grade for the paper on the movie I only watched half of (8 1/2, I saw 4 1/4) because I left to catch a talk by Calvin Trillan. I was a wild woman.

i was about to relate the story of my last minute research paper on batman in i think 9th grade? until i remembered that it was due the day before spring break and the extension i got meant that i spent an entire week on it and imo it still sucked

I similarly BSed my way thru an art history term paper using only the class-assigned textbook as a source. Everything else was me just using basic art criticism to discuss the meaning of church architecture. Wrote the whole thing in the library in the 3 hours before class.
