Best strange advice I’ve ever gotten: If you catch yourself having negative thoughts about yourself, start hearing them in Trump’s voice. You’ll immediately begin defending yourself.

If you ever find yourself reading a written account of something the Orange Traitor has said and being angry that you can hear his voice… just read it back and try to hear Woody Allen saying the same words.

Did you ever see the Seinfeld where Kramer has a ‘seizure’ at the sound of a certain celebrity’s voice? I would fear this if the voice was in my head. Besides, once you invite vampires, I mean evil, in, it can stay.

Blockade 🚫 the parade. Protest wall around the parade area. Gridlock the streets/highways outside the parade route 2 hours before. Peaceful ✌️ No police engagement. Make a NothingBurger out of the Fox News exclusive: empty parade stands, empty parade streets, empty propaganda.

"What other people think about you is none of your business." Not sure I completely understand it even still but it helps me to separate my self from what people think they know about me. It gives me permission to discount the noise.

Hahaha. Good one! When I first ran for fed office, I was told, "Keep it at a 4th grade level". An exaggeration perhaps, but sadly, mostly true. Candidates need to connect w/ voters before voters will even consider policy ideas. Talking to them like your sitting on their couch is a start...

If you mimic someone's facial expression, you get a strong hit of that person's attitude or emotion. E.g. mimic Trump's sitting-there-being-flattered face and you feel smug and entitled. Mimic his Mussolini mouth serious face, and you feel all look-at-me-I'm-an-action-hero. It works for posture, too

No sagging, no sagging. You're the saggy titted one, not me. Everyone says mine are the perkiest, the roundest most beautiful breasts. That's such a beautiful word, breasts. An old fashioned word that I just made up. It's my favorite word.

The weirdest advice I received that was strangely effective, was the #LegalAdvice of the UUA's Canadian attorneys to take down blog posts about #UUrapists, or face being charged with #BlasphemousLibel. It was-is #StrangelyEffective in encouraging my #whistleblowing on #UUA #ChildSexAbuse cover-up.
