So why are Peter Baker and Ken Dilanian saying Biden had an opportunity to release the Epstein files and did not? My understanding was that Maxwell was in the appeal process and that’s why they could not release any Epstein related documents.

Well, but one would hope that Biden's DOJ would have had the wisdom to send those files to a secure site, away from the incoming DOJ, you know, just in case they decided not to release them, or redact them to hell.
