Trump currently holds up to $81 million in oil and gas stocks. His stocks have increased in value by 43% since the end of 2025.

This is clear SCOTUS precedent after their disastrous Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton decision. Expect these social media bans to be upheld 9-0, 6-3 at worst, if appealed to SCOTUS.

Like many others I assumed this was funny hyperbole -- "call in the national guard!" type of thing -- but no it's a description of events.

They called the cops on this 3-year-old Black boy because he was kickin the white kids' ass on the soccer field.

Heartbreaking story to read about a sex worker being assaulted by a client. I read the whole thing. And PS: this exact situation happens to clients as they have been sexually assaulted by sex workers in the past (and yes, trick rolling is a form of sexual assault by sex workers).

SWOP Behind Bars@swopbehindbars.bsky.social

When a sex worker experiences violence, the hardest part of asking for help may be deciding whom to trust. A Woman Named Sarah- Sarah knows about the National Human Trafficking Hotline. She's heard about helping victims escape exploitation Now she's wondering whether the hotline is meant for her

I plan on copying and pasting what SWOP Behind Bars posted here on Pages or LibreOffice Writer and then saving and posting a PNG that is shareable across platforms.

The person experiencing violence should have a meaningful voice in deciding what happens next. Trust cannot be manufactured through awareness campaigns. It develops when people receive useful assistance, retain control over decisions, and discover that asking for help doesn't create another crisis.

But Sarah's problem doesn't fit neatly into that framework. She doesn't have a trafficker. She has an extremely violent client. Sarah thanks the advocate and hangs up. she still doesn't know where she'll sleep tonight. Worse, she's wondering whether calling was a mistake.

She dials. Sarah explains that a client assaulted her. She needs medical attention, help deciding whether to report. The conversation turns toward her circumstances. Is someone forcing her to sell sex? Controlling her money? These are reasonable questions when assessing potential trafficking.

During that arrest, officers searched her phone, questioned her about other workers. Her family found out, she lost her apartment. She has spent years rebuilding her life. Reporting another crime could put everything at risk. She remembers the hotline advertises confidential assistance & referrals

Sarah isn't being trafficked or trying to leave sex work. She's been assaulted by a violent client who stole her money and threatened to expose her to her family. She wants him stopped before he hurts someone else. But Sarah has been arrested for prostitution before.

Todd Blanche and this corrupt administration are already planning to play games with the election. Apparently, old habits die hard because this man is still acting like Trump’s personal attorney. Our democracy does not belong to Trump and his sellout friends. It belongs to the people.

Attorney General Todd Blanche leaves open the possibility that the Justice Department could seek to block states from certifying votes in the midterm elections, though Blanche insists it wasn’t his intention to “improperly interfere with elections.”
