Tulsi Gabbard is withholding a whistleblower complaint from Congress, citing executive privilege (which means it involves Trump) and that it's "too classified to give to Congress," which is ridiculous. You can support the lawyers representing the whistleblower here: whistlebloweraid.org/beans

The news just gives the headline - what could possibly be so secret that Congress can’t be notified??? Help me understand this and why nobody seems to be questioning it

I think we can all agree that the concept of governing based on “norms and traditions” and “gentlemanly behavior” has been a bunch of southern fried bullshit since the civil war designed to protect seditionists, traitors and disgruntled former slave owners.

According To Federal Law, Whistleblowers Are Required To Give Those Complaints About The Executive Branch DIRECTLY TO CONGRESS. Malfeasance. That Includes ALL Executive Branch Offices, As Congress Has 100% Oversight... Little Thing Called The US Constitution.

It Also Falls Under 18 USC § 4 Misprision Of Felony, And §2382 Misprision Of Treason "Failing To Report Knowledge Of A Felony Or Treasonous Plot To The Proper Authorities." Which In This Is CONGRESS.

Given how brazenly trump's goons were to falsely cite theoretical executive privilege to avoid testifying to Congress, is there independent reason to believe trump is implicated in this specific complaint (aside from the extensive history of corruption)?

What in the hell can be “too classified to give to Congress”? What dreadfully nefarious bullshit is this all about? Congress needs to demand a hearing. This isn’t how our democracy works.

If Tulsi Gabbard is involved, it must fall under the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act. If so, any concern deemed credible must be transmitted to Congress and can not be blocked by Executive Privilege. The law specifically prevents the executive branch from hiding misconduct.

I would bet that the complaint also includes her name in some way connected to the wrongdoing, and that makes her doubly intent on withholding it from investigation!
