“I’ve been eating BBQ since before Ken Paxton’s first indictment” is a great joke. I’d love to see Talarico swap out the punchline each time he tells it. “…since before Ken Paxton cheated on his wife” “…since before Ken Paxton was impeached by his own party” There are hundreds of options.

James Talarico has a bumper sticker that says “Less Honkin’ More Tonkin” You can’t get much more Texan than that.

Freakin hysterical....But asking our politicians to be stand-ups?....We've gone too far down the road of having a beer with them. Do the Fn job. Ask your neighbor to stop voting for click clout.

“To call Ken Paxton ethically challenged is to call Jeffrey Dahmer suffering from an eating disorder.” Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC)... on his own party's Senate nominee. www.threads.com/@human.ity85...

I’m comfortable in my meathood that I don’t need to eat meat at every campaign stop. Or send unsolicited meat pics to women who may or may not work for me.

"…since before Ken Paxton’s first grand jury was even impaneled." "…since before Ken Paxton's deposition became a masterclass in the Fifth Amendment." "…since before Ken Paxton’s defense fund cost more than the actual state budget."

MAGA doesn’t care Ken Paxton has no policy & nothing to offer for his constituents? What Paxton is doing is mocking/joking/telling lies & nonsense about James Talarico instead of what Paxton offer! 🤬 Why Texans picked the corrupted criminal Paxton from the beginning? MAGAs in Texas have 🧠?

Hum Talarico rang bells in my head, why?; Steven Victor Tallarico (born March 26, 1948), known professionally as Steven Tyler, is an American singer and songwriter, one “l” difference…

Sadly, MAGA obviously doesn't care about his infidelity or his corruption. GOP love and want a 'fighter.' Democrats need to work harder to inform people what they'll do to help the economy.

Predator culture feeds corpses to children and teaches them to enjoy the taste. Talarico joining the vegan-bullying is a HUGE middle finger to the PLANET. They are accusing him of being GENTLE on purpose. If it's sociopath predator vs affable predator, the MORE violent animal wins. #BetterDems

I thought his response should have been " yes there are a number of vegetable I enjoy eating, especially WITH Texass BBQ brisket, chicken fried steak, beef and chicken fajitas, Texass river catfish, Gulf of Mexico shrimp, crabs. oysters and redfish ..."

And anytime someone tries to use Talarico's unmarried status against him just ask them "yeah, right! Oh, by the way, who is Lindsay Graham married to again?"

If Paxton had even an ounce of decency I'd have sympathy for his ugly horrible eyes and face , but his face would stop big Ben and how much did he pay his wife to marry him , supposedly the eye problems were from injuries at 12 and an elbow in college, peeping Tom is dangerous

WE think that & it would be hilarious, but I wonder if Talarico would actually go to that well again. I'm inclined to think not and that since that remark was let's say a bit more legislatively framed, that he probably would feel the point's been made & choose the high road after. It's a low road!

Except that he keeps making the same joke over and over. He needs to switch it up. And honestly? Fuck the high road. That's not really that low of a road, all things considered. 🤷🏼‍♀️

1/2 Taking a road higher than the one Paxton requires you to travel to support him is a pretty easy road to clear, IOW. I only heard Talarico make the first remark about the indictment, if he's repeating that, then I guess it's par for the course in a campaign, I hadn't heard that about him.

2/2 Ultimately what I mean is I just don't think it's generally in his nature to do anything outside of his calm, well thought out positions, and being able to vocalize that message to his constituents in a way that resonates with people. He doesn't need to do anything differently, IOW.

Question for anyone who knows: Does the energy around Talarico feel different from the energy around Beto? People were so optimistic that Beto could do it, but alas. Does Talarico really have a chance? Paxton is odious, but that doesn’t matter to TX MAGA. Not to mention likely election interTerence.

Yeah but I think Talerico is gonna take the “moral high ground “ and find more subtle and (hopefully) more effective ways to make these same points whilst pointing out the moral hypocrisy of his opponent.
