That twice as many people have early voted at this point in the election than did in 2022. If it’s indicative the more people are voting overall, that’s excellent news for democrats. If it means more people are early voting, that’s also good news for us.

Sure. But we need to wake up. The GOP run almost everything. They have all the billionaires. While it's nice that wellmeaning folks work to prevent it, keeping afloat antiquated voting booths, its hard to see how they have any chance against the violent unapologetic criminality of todays Republicans

My wife's an election worker, that tracks with Illinois👍 But he can't allow a transfer of power to a democratic controlled anything, so we'll see if hegseth orders the military men he specifically put in to fire on "unruly" citizens...

Good choice. I have no dog in this fight as I’m Canadian, but Americans really need to step up with their evaluation of the current govt. I do worry about the validity of an election that won’t allow international observers at the polls. That’s usually just countries like N. Korea, Russia, China.

Got my evil and vile mail-in ballot yesterday, so I will be spending the weekend undermining the administration and then, taking it to the ballot drop-off box in front of my City Hall, as the USPS is getting ready to do the right-wing thing.

I'm worried about the accuracy of early voting machines as my address is shown in one district on the "sample ballot for your address" and a different one on all specific maps from reputable sources I've located. I tried emailing them to no avail. Will call the locals on Tuesday (Mon. is a holiday)

I'll be voting early in Ohio next week. I'm working the polls on election day. We had training last week on evacuating the polling place in case of emergency, keeping voting supplies/equipment secure. We've never had that training in the past.

It’s going to be a fucking tsunami…a giant, massive blue fucking tsunami. The red right won’t have enough life jackets or rafts to survive this massive hurricane wave coming their way! MASSIVE!!

It must be fantastic to live in a state that so values your vote it gives you a month to cast it. Unfortunately for me I live in KY, which gives you a couple of days right before the election & makes it very difficult to get an absentee ballot, so if you're shit out of luck, you're shit out of luck.

So sorry. Every voter in California gets a VBM ballot. They arrived last week. I put mine in the drop box near my house today. Now the ballot was 80 pages long, but that’s okay.

Vote by Mail (VBM) is convenient, but in-person voting (early or on election day) ensures full chain of custody, to see your ballot scanned and cuts out any middle man discrepancies (lost paperwork, scanning errors etc). Not the year to entrust democracy to the US Postal Service.

since you asked, OH is a red state which makes it as hard to vote as possible. 3 poll workers for a queue of 50 in-person voters. Person 1 checks the ID, person 2 prints the paper ballot tied to your ID, person 3 double checks the ballot with person 1. What's voting in California like?

So proud of my state. Virginia residents, if you haven’t voted yet, early voting goes through 10.31. This election is crucial. Not only are we voting for House and Senate, but we also have three ballot measures, including reproductive freedom, restoration of voting rights, and marriage equality.

Second day of early voting in Ohio, mid-morning, and there were a LOT of people voting. And judging by the roster of Democrat-recommended candidates clutched in their hands, it was about 75% Democrat votes. Voting always makes me get a lump in my throat. This year's vote is so important.

Nice! Here in FFXCO, they haven’t opened all the early voting locations yet Including in/near the beltway. So expect this to jump way up in 2 weeks.

Even better look at the Dem % of the votes: bsky.app/profile/blue...

Nearly three weeks into Virginia early voting for the 2026 midterms, Dems are estimated to be leading in 10 of 11 CDs (!) - and in ruby-red VA09, which went by 45 pts to the GOP incumbent (Rep. Morgan Griffith) in 2024, Rs are only up 16 pts. Nice!!! bluevirginia.us/2026/10/frid...
