In the “ old days” the wealth was even more concentrated . Think feudal. Handful of Royals.

I’m not in favor of excluding whole groups of people from owning land generally - it was an issue when i lived in denmark - but i can see the case for resident-only ownership when you see stories like this and consider half of west cork’a coastline on a smaller scale of wealth.

Between this and AirBnB, the property ladder has been lifted far out of reach.

The controls on airbnb are pitiful and unfortunately there is so much greed in terms of the rich continually acquiring property in ireland!
