Thank you. I think people don't realize that when you look at positions of Dems & Repubs when the parties differ, which is often, Dems will almost always be on side of democracy while Reps prefer authoritarian dominance. And they sell this shit to mindless followers by instilling fear into them

How about restricting the existence of billionaires? I know a millionaire isn't what it used to be (every other person in my town is one) but nobody needs billions of dollars.

This cannot be accomplished under the US Constitution. It and the US government must be entirely scrapped, destroyed down to the roots and replaced with a socialist one (or, more realistically, several socialist ones, because the US is also far too large) in order to solve this fundamental problem

It’s a simple solution. Only public funds can donate to political campaigns. Not one dime of private money- and severe penalties if one dime of private money is used. And then restore tax rates to what they once were- 91% (hard to believe, but true) That money will change America for the better.

Taxing them will help though.

Billionnaire isn’t enough. Anyone who is worth over $100M should not be allowed to run unless they sacrifice whatever it takes to get to $100M. The excess will be distributed to the people they so wanted to serve. And then we impose a 75% wealth tax on net worth for same, includes unrealized gains.
