I am grieving the barbarism that is going to unfurl from all this. People are going to die. Livelihoods gone. All to feed a corrupt kleptocracy. I see every day up close how different it is from the first time around. There are no guardrails. A disaster. I’m sorry we have to live through this.

You do know the Federalist Society and ALEC have been working towards a Constitutional Convention for decades? It is their fondest dream. They control loads of state legislatures (thanks to grassroots Tea Party movement) and that's who will vote on things like getting rid of the 14th Amendment.

The "tea party" was NOT a grassroots movement. It was Astro turf, and this has been well documented.

I'm aware. But it was marketed as grassroots. My point is that a Constitutional Convention will be captured before it even starts and is the last thing we want.
