Once you know what patterns to look for, it's not too difficult to recognize LLM-generated text... but yeah, it's still a time-waster, sifting through top-ranking search results and finding that almost all of them are slop.

Kinda reminds me of when I looked up Kega Fusion, and literally the first result was a SEO-poisoning slopsite with links that were literally all <a href="#">.

Just to confirm things for you, I checked my reference books and they list Phantasy Star Fukkokuban as being released on April 2, 1994 (Mega Drive Complete Guide Deluxe). I'm sure you found another source by this point, but reference books are a good way to avoid AI data corruption.

The Complete Guide books from Shufunotomo (with and without the Deluxe editions) have been my gold standard for system reference. They're not perfect, I've found one case across five books of a typod date, but they're well researched. Unfortunately, they now seem to be out of print and expensive...

Superb article. Also "Game data not found"... good eye, I missed that the first time lol. If it's any consolation, _I_ learned about Phantasy Star Facsimile edition, not by BSky, or any info silo like Discord. But I learned of it by checking my RSS feed, which I've finally been doing regularly.
