Since tomorrow is MLK day it's a good time to remember that the term "woke" was coined by Black Americans in the 1930s. It means people who have awakened to systemic racism in the US. This term was hijacked to mean "left" by right-wing racists during BLM and the press never called them out for it.

I never understood "woke" as an insult. The opposite of "woke" is asleep and as George Carlin said, that's what you'd have to be to believe the American Dream.

The opposite of woke is asleep. Anyone complaining about it is telling you exactly what they prefer.

That's Gavin Newsom in the photo, right?

Bud Fox: But why do you have to wreck this country? Trump: Because its wreckable, alright!

The choice is easy between woke on one hand and neo nazi on the other.

Gavin newsom watched this film and was like: "This is what I wanna look like!"

If you sold t-shirts of this, I’d buy many

Wide awake 👀 and pissed all the way off 👊🏻

I don’t understand why some 🇺🇸 find being WOKE a negative. Incorporating DEI (Diversity, Equality & Inclusion) should be a universal requirement when treating other. Even someone with poor education, bad teeth & a sickly pallor should be treated humanely & fairly.

Hey, that's Gavin Newsom right?

🎯

The opposite of woke is asleep. Which seems appropriate to that crowd.

Fuckin A man.

thought this was gavin newsom at first glance

👏👏👏

You tell him, "Blue Horseshoe loves Woke Steel."
