This is what Zelenskyy has been lobbying for. Ukrainian drone producers can build more drones than UKRGOV has money to buy. More production is all for the good. Of course, Zelenskyy wants a lot more than that, but this is something he can get -- and he can keep lobbying for more.

Why deal with the US? Go direct to the Gulf States. Patriot missiles for interceptors, as Zelensky proposed. Win win.

And make sure Trump is suitably grateful first.

Unless it’s a joint manufacturing deal, I don’t see it happening. Ukraine isn't giving up their own shield while their cities are under fire just to bail out the US in the Gulf.

Gulf states should hire Ukrainians as defence contractors, it’s more the operator than the actual drone. There’s 10s of thousands of ex-military personnel who can no longer fight due to injury, but could fulfil this role. NATO & EU countries should do the same btw. Far cheaper than losing an F35
