Most definitely they should continue. It will disrupt everyday business in Russia and cause interference for the general public to communicate which may add to the pressure of civil unrest. 🇺🇦🇬🇧

1/ Russian attacks on Ukrainian data centres have started a "data centre war" for which Russia is ill-prepared, argues a Russian warblogger. He forecasts a disastrous collapse of Russia's digital economy if Ukraine's retaliatory attacks on Russian data centres continue. ⬇️

Yandex Cloud runs drone telemetry and targeting compute, so this isnt just apps going dark. Ukraine hit the kill chain and the ad revenue with one strike. Moscow built its digital spine in a few giant DCs now sitting inside drone range.

Same as with Wildberries, Pootin integrated "civilian" facilities into the war economy he has converted Russia into. This makes them all legitimate military targets now. It's massively asymmetric as the cost of these drones is a tiny fraction of these expensive facilities but hey, fuck 'em. 👊🇺🇦
