My husband's best friend died from this at 56. It was shocking. Many years later, we were offered the HPV vaccine for our teens. We researched the science and listened to our pediatrician and had them vaccinated. Thank goodness for science. The current US Health Secretary is a disgrace.

My sister died of cervical cancer due to Drs telling older women you don't have to keep getting your PAP test. She stopped gettomg test and 3 years later she was dead. My granddaughters 12 and 14 have both had this vaccine shot so they don't get this type of cancer. Fuck RFK Jr. Get PAP yearly!

My son is a childhood cancer survivor and there are parents in that support group who are antivax, including the HPV vaccine. It boggles the mind that they would not prevent their child from getting another cancer if possible.

My 10 year old son was vaccinated last week. Standard vaccine in Spain for ALL children. When the nurse explained what HPV was he rolled up his sleeve and accepted the vaccine, even though he's scared of needles. Even a 10 year can understand why vaccines are important.

Cervical, penile, anal, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. All caused by HPV. The vaccine prevents against HPV strains that cause these cancers. End result is that Americans as a whole pay more for the chemotherapy and radiation to treat them down the line. It's cruel and nonsensical.

It used to be available only to teens and young adults, so I missed out being older. When it was changed to 45, I was 44 and I wanted to get the shots, but had to pay out of pocket because insurance refused to cover it. At least I got a cash discount, but it should have been covered.

I am a nurse who looks after people going through treatment for cervical cancer. It is a brutal treatment. The fact that the HPV vaccine will eliminate so many cases of this awful cancer, but people are blocking it, is utterly immoral.

I’ve gone from utter scorn at the idiocy that supports people like him to abject sorrow at the lives that will be affected by it. In a first world country, a girl should be able to benefit from life-saving healthcare even if she or her parents are too fucking thick to take advantage of it.

HPV vaccine is the best vaccine out there that prevents cancer. It has reduced the incidence of cervical cancer multi fold. Only a fool would attempt to block its use.
