It's hard to describe the emotions this all brings up in me. So many very profound feelings of sadness, anger, fear, disgust. And I'm a white, cisgender woman of nearly 71 years old. But - I haven't lost all hope. Yet. I believe in compassion for all others. And will continue to practice that.

I'm not clear on how this works. Contractors can put up signs etc. announcing that facilities are segregated (hateful enough in itself), but can they take measures against people who ignore those signs?

Only a matter of time before companies decide to have no bathrooms whatsoever, and let people use individual port-a-johns in the parking lot.
