Back in the 90s when really horrible things were being done to me by my father the local npr station would have story time on the radio. Some who sounded so kind and loving would read many different books on the radio. It helped me live through what was happening. NPR is essential for so many things

I always look to NPR and PBS for the truth about a story before I form an opinion.

Why has NPR not bought any new Mis Summer Murders or Vera? Maybe too much of our money goes to bay the managers and Terry Gross!

I donated and I appreciate the dire and difficult position you are in. While I have noticed a tonal shift, careful listeners will note that the reporting and fact-checking is still there. Flying under the radar is a survival tactic. Fascists love it when we eat our own — we do their job for them.
