Everyone sucks. T-Mobile backed off their DEI pledge and signed with Starlink; I think AT & T scaled back on their DEI initiatives too. Most of the smaller groups (Boost, Mint) piggyback off of the big 3's towers, so there really aren't many good alternatives out there.

Even if they piggyback if you share why you split from the big guys to the smaller ones you still take a huge portion of profit away from them. Most of those smaller companies are cheaper, which means you reduce the over all amount of money you would be paying to the big company

I truly believe that corporate America is not much different from a prostitute. In fact, I think prostitutes may have more morals and principles than corporate America, because even prostitutes have red lines they won't cross for money.

That’s why we the consumers have the monetary power to put them out of business because without us they’re nothing. We let our money do the talking as government fail to be for us rather working against us.

Press hates the American people for not saying what it really is and they know it. Extortion from government makes quid pro quo precedent press approved. Hold the government accountable, but in the 21st it isn't the press' job as it has been. An excuse for Verizon, but the gov made us bend over.

Am I misunderstanding….why can’t Verizon, now that the deal went through, go back to DEI? Why can’t this be temporary appeasement (albeit pathetic) or are they still scared of the FCC and Trump?

You know if everyone didn't listen to the fcc and ignored them you could make them irrelevant. It's not too hard. Hire blackrock and if they come near your equipment they meet and immovable object. They only have power if you let them.

If the electorate had any sense of memory, they'd punish these corporations by choosing to not choose their services when the merry band of Nazis are in prison. Please, you have to remember what all the companies did when they come crawling back to you hat in hand beggin for that dollar. REMEMBER

Mint is owned by T-Mobile who did the same thing as this in January over the Lumos acquisition. Which is a shame because I really like Mint. I dunno if AT&T is doing any better though.

And on the other side of world, Tscherning, the Denmark company returned their whole fleet of Tesla because of Musk politics, and they care more about morals and ethics than money.

I wonder how much the Western Electric discrimination class action lawsuit back in the 60s still applies to Verizon. They need to tread carefully. Just because Ma Bell broke up into pieces doesn’t mean the past court decisions no longer apply.

The acronym DEI, is just more detailed visions of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, EEOC laws, & the former Lilly Ledbetter Act of equal pay for equal work. In 2017, the DJT regime #1, dismantled Lilly Ledbetter Act of equal pay for equal work DEI is now more dismantling . 1964 Civil Rights Act is next.

Bowing to a dictator to keep profits flowing. Another proof point that companies exist as tools to concentrate wealth ... they have no consience, they are amoral, they are not people and their rights should always be subordinate to the people and the institutions protecting them!

suggest if you haven’t already to watch this week’s John Oliver as his topic is using the FCC as a weapon with the CBS-Skydance merger as an example, it’s a very good episode and scary as hell too

Have to admit I think ditching diversity pledges and putting the money to better use is sensible! Anyone with common sense credits someone based on their expertise and knowledge, and not on individual characteristics. Diversity quotas and pledges are just nonsense and woke.

These companies never wanted DEI in the first place. They certainly jumped when given permission to drop it. They never walked the talk. It was all a lie. Many of us who worked for large corporations knew that.
