I don't care ebough to read about this, but I assume when he says "American viewpoints" he's talking specifically and exclusively about white supremacy and medial disinformation? Am I close?

It has more to do with Europe making laws on restricting the internet and curbing the use, sale and manipulation of peoples data. There are non gov't entities out there trying to curb surveillance capitalism.

Oh no! Don't bar us from entering your shifhole country, where we're subject to daily mass shootings, deportation by barely sentient cro-mags, measles outbreaks, and a president that loves raping children and shitting his diapers in public! How will we ever endure this cruelty???

But sure folks, go right on posting to Xitter. "U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio posted on his X account that the Commission's fine was akin to an attack on the American people. Musk later agreed with Rubio's sentiment." www.pbs.org/newshour/wor... #BoycottX #DestroyX #CancelMusk

pbs.orgEU fines Elon Musk's X 120 million euros for breaching bloc's social media lawThe European Commission issued its decision following an investigation it opened two years ago into X under the 27-nation bloc’s Digital Services Act, also known as the DSA.

By those standards, the 🇪🇺 should ban Bannon, Kushner, Kevin Roberts of The Heritage Foundation and Zuckerberg... but not Musk, just for the fun of seeing MAGA trying to figure out how they will whine.

Probably, but it's way funnier if you have two unpleasant europhobes and you only ban one of the two, e.g. Marco Rubio and Scott Bessent. Which one would you ban, if you had to choose one ?

Not being allowed to go to a place where you and 30 others could be badly injured by a psychotic 16 year old with a AR-15 given to him but his psychotic father and then finding out you don't have medical insurance because an stubbed toe counts as predictable existing isn't much of a punishment.

They're not trying to censor American viewpoints; they're trying to make American tech companies follow EU laws when active in the EU. Imagine, Americans follow other's laws? the shock...

Does America censor other countries? I do believe the answer is yes! Every country has the right to do what is best for their people. US today can not keep there nose out of other countries. US is a corrupt country today which needs to be changed. The people of the US must take its country back!

So we now target individuals for roles in shaping EU laws that tech bros don’t like? Will we next blow up their fishing skiffs & kill incapacitated survivors? Block/approve Euro company mergers based on fealty to Trump or outright payments to him? Our Banana Republic era is going swimmingly.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

For Europe, the blackmail plan is to tank Euro currentcy and restrict access to digital cloud services that Europe buys so masivelly from the USA. Maybe they want to sink also US digital market after discrediting defence sector and axing US tourism.

Meanwhile Russians are welcomed to Mar A Lago to discuss how to press Ukraine to give up. AND while they're punishing India for buying Russian oil the US is lifting more and more sanctions against Russia. See what's going on here?

The little wooden boy who wished to be White sees not his nose but his ears grow larger upon hearing his own lies & hypocrisy. Poor little Marco is left to dangle like ghosts hanging on a clothesline on a windless night.
