No terrorist organisation must fill the gap there after Assad regime to commit mass killings or mass exiles with terror to form their own population to form artificial illegal formations of anarchy or terror erupting terror and terrorists!

Well this is when when the problems starts once an overthrow of power is achieved. It leaves a power vacuum ready to be filled with different factions who will keep changing their allegiances and support the political party that offers them the most guarantees.

That’s funny because the guy they pushed and helped to overthrow Assad had a $10 million bounty on him by the U.S. Government. So one must ask the question, which ISIS members did they bomb, the ones with them or some other one?

Per Netanyahu: IDF positions inside the buffer zone are temporary. Missile targets included small stockpiles of chemical weapons…mustard gas, VX gas, which remained in Syrian possession, radar-equipped batteries, Russian-made air defense missiles, & stockpiles of Scud missiles.

The situation in Syria will take a devastating turn as extremist groups like ISIS and Al-Qaeda take power and overthrow a secular regime. This would likely lead to a sharp decline in human rights, particularly for women and minority groups.

Women’s freedom, education, and autonomy would be severely restricted, and young girls will face abduction, forced marriage, and sexual violence, as seen in other conflict zones under extremist control. The impact on education and cultural development would be dire,

with extremist ideologies suppressing any form of progressive thought. If such a scenario unfolds, it would be a tragic step backward for the region, and the consequences would be even worse than what has been witnessed in Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan under similar circumstances.

The international community, including Western media, should be cautious not to overlook or even unwittingly support ideologies that enable such atrocities. You will witness, thses thugs will attack women first,ISIS raped thousand of girls in Iraq,Taliban are denying women rights, dont support ISIS.

Pretending Regimes are "secular" because they are sympathetic to western geopolitics is dishonest. Assad's government was never secular or detached from the very real religious tribalism demanding death en masse in the name of authoritarian mythological teachings The US does not support secularism

I hope you know that there is more than ISIS and AQ? To say that it WILL take a devastating turn is just incorrect. It really depends on how the situation is handled, the country is now probably heavily unstable. Depending how joint forces will rule; the SNA along with the SAF.

we should certainly learn from the changing regimes in Iraq and Libya. Both countries experienced significant instability after regime changes, with power vacuums leading to prolonged conflict and the rise of extremist groups.

The aftermath of those transitions highlights the importance of a well-thought-out plan for governance and security to prevent further fragmentation.

Wrong. ISIS is Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. The headline stopped after Islamic State, which could be confused with Islam. Words matter, and the New York Times should know that. Ps. When I read their headline aloud 2 other people in my household, they didn’t know what that specifically meant.

Before you spend the next 4 years whining about Jill Stein voters, you should make sure those people actually affected the outcome of the election. If those people had all voted Kamala, would Trump still have won?

I wouldn't call 10,000 2,000-pound bombs, F-15 fighter jets, 6,500 500-pound bombs, 3,000 Hellfire missiles, and 50,000 tons of equipment including armored vehicles sent to Israel by Biden in any way "small and subtle." Though I agree Trump is much worse, particularly in bilateralism for Israel.

To put it another way: Biden/Harris call for ceasefire, two state solution, and support aid to Gaza. 47s ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee has said, "There's really no such thing as a Palestinian . . ."

Man, instead of worrying about what’s going on in Ukraine and Syria you need to focus on what’s happening here. Trump just got re-elected due to financial help from Elon, a government contractor, which is clearly against the law as per USC 52 U.S.C. § 30119. But you have said nothing about it 🤷🏿‍♂️
