Liberals complain that the Republican party is is homophobic. But when Trump positively describes a man's ass to millions of people, liberals find that off putting. So which is it?

I think in general it’s off putting to hear a powerful person talk about another person’s ass in public - and I feel the same way when Trump went on about Minaj’s ass. There’s def some “ha ha he’s gay” from some folks in there but I think it’s more of a “wtf is wrong with him?”

This. It’s coarse & crude behavior. We can even make this a narrow application, “elected & appointed officials should not speak publicly about childrens’ bodies, the genitalia of others (or their own, honestly), & physical attributes associated with sexual attraction (e.g., butts, breasts).
