EU: The European Union will require sale of mobile phones with “user-replaceable and longer-lasting batteries” starting in 2027. The regulation demands “availability of spare parts and manuals for 10 years to curb planned obsolescence”.

It will be very interesting how they achieve this to be end-user replaceable with new advances in how they cool batteries and devices while also charging them at 45W - 65W and so on!
