US consumers paid the import taxes, then Trump reimbursed the big corporations. There is no fortune, and certainly not well over a trillion dollars. He really is just a modern incarnation of a snake oil salesman.

“The president has complete, absolute immunity for actions that fall within the "exclusive constitutional authority" granted by Article II of the Constitution.” I can’t imagine even this corrupt/criminal Court accepting bribing the public for votes as activity protected by Article II.

🤣😂 OMG! First he is changing New Mexico to New America. Meanwhile genociding pain patients, elderly, cancer patients and veterans. Then now is wanting to give us 5000? Right. 🙄🤢🤮 You can't buy us.

Do people really believe that Trump (yep the one who was at 9/11 Ground Zero being proverbially saved by two fireman) gonna spend a total of $1.3b on all adults which includes millions who don't like him?! Yeah right

The promise of money for votes. Acknowledging it's a lie aside, the rancid stench of bribery is palatable. Unfortunately, it's a despotic move that will likely work on a good chunk of the citizenry. Trump is an outright criminal.
