All the more disappointing to see veterans vote for the Republican Party. 65% voted for Trump in ‘24. Let’s see that vote share flip for Democrats in ‘26 and ‘28. No one who served should vote for the party that turned their back on veterans.

And veteran discounts at the store they all ask for.

You all know exactly that it is and you all are ok with Trump shitting all over that fact. Yep, Disabled Vets are diverse, deserve equal access, pay and opportunity, and should be included. Let's call what they are doing exactly what it is - exclusion.

It’s intentional, Putin needs to weaken our military. This is how you do it, you don’t take care of people who risk their lives for you. They know that that’s why people sign up or getting listed. So they’re following out the core of the military’s own mantra. Protect our own.

I'm surprised Trump, Musk, et al haven't justified it by claiming that preferential hiring means it's DEI.

Also, paying federal employees is a big way of how our government gets dollars into the communities which need them to make their bank payments

They refused to listen to us that served with them. We told them this was going to happen. Now my services at the VA are suffering because of their decisions.

If people's only news source is fox or things that are even worse/fringier they didn't know. And the mainstream media kept accepting Trump's claim that project 2025 had nothing to do with him. Yeah people should know more about who they're voting for, but there was an elaborate effort to mislead.

Many of those veterans have grown-up children who are now serving. I hope they talk to them pretty seriously about their constitutional duties.

Took a month but finally getting some to realize those who were hurt most are veterans. Disabled Vets even more so. While telling us the guy who offered cash bounties on dead Americans in Afghanistan is a victim. Trump hates the fact the military wouldn't back his first coup.
