The climate doesn't care what the law is, it will continue to function as normal, which in this case is to have the global temperature continue to rise until humans can't live here any more. We could change it, but the GOP wants humanity to eventually cease to exist.

"Destabilizing Global Weather Patterns" is more alarming than "global warming". People do not understand the 1.5+C raise is catastrophic: agriculture disruption, heat waves, sea level rise, permafrost feedback looping...

"[G]etting rid of the [EPA'] endangerment finding could hamstring any future administration's efforts to regulate greenhouse gas emissions." Why couldn't a future administration's EPA simply use the data and reinstate the finding? (I don't know Administrative Procedure Act intricacies.)

They are literally the biggest group of idiots to ever run our country. I can almost forgive this stupidity. The GREED I can’t forgive. They will trash the planet and risk our health just to make a dollar.

The EPA is days away from revoking the '09 finding that GHG emissions endanger public health. 16 years of climate policy, erased. If the scientific "bedrock" goes, federal emission limits follow. Is this "total victory" or a terminal systems failure? (Hint: It's both, and for the wrong reasons)

This upsets me more than anything else. I wouldn't have thought that twenty years ago, it would have seemed bad but now it just feels devastating to me. I don't know what to tell my child.

Like there's some way that we have to roll around in this ignorant hole to survive and not go absolutely insane but we are just waiting for our chance to bolt and live in the light again. I imagine it's like being parented by extreme addicts or abusers.

Tuesday, November 3, 2026 is coming. Our next chance to corral these climate change-denying highwaymen! Vote out all #GOP #Republicans. They are either #corrupt or #complicit, imo. Either way, they must go.
