Introducing Anti Slop 🚫 A GitHub action that detects and automatically closes low-quality and AI slop PRs. As one of the maintainers of Coolify (50K+ stars) we deal with slop PRs daily so I decided to fix it. Early testing showed this action could have closed 98% of slop PRs.

after reading the checks, probably not. it checks for things like excessive emoji use, account age, proper PR template usage, proper PR title convention. if you used AI to write a high-quality PR on your own account it would likely pass.

It does not. ◆ AI is one of the best things to ever be released and when used with experience and properly according to project guidelines it will pass all checks. ◆ If some checks do not pass that is also not that big of a deal as you can set a tunable failure sensitivity to avoid false positives.

Sounds like a semi-decent solution for now, but also sounds like a stopgap measure. Agents are going to be pointed at these kind of things, and then make the appropriate adaptations to their PRs for them to not trigger the filter.
