My impression is that AI coding is on a "pick two of three" triangle: scope, ship speed, and correctness. Small tools are (speed + correctness) fast prototypes are (speed + scope) and big projects are (scope + correctness). Every project that tries to be all three degrades to "fast prototype."

I mean, this was coding before AI tools, right? They’re an accelerator, not a sea change.

Definitely, probably the interesting thing is that the acceleration doesn't seem to somehow distribute equally. I think probably because the scope has gone way up

it has a real ability to hyperscale scope creep. scope... blitzcreep? scope sprint? the scopocalypse?

I like blitzcreep that's great

Gives you the ability to vastly extend your coding on two fronts at high speed until you get bogged down in the siege of Leningrad.
