Sadly, this is the case. If a student can't read how can they pass middle school science, English, or other classes?

Does the #ScienceOfReading apply to Secondary school teachers and adolescent learners, too?? YES!! If schools fail to teach students to read in elementary school, this puts a massive burden on our middle & high school teachers. It’s imperative they have training in the #SOR, too! #PodcastPairing

Exactly! We also need programs tailored to their maturity level. I wouldn't have them play the same games that I have my first grade students play.
