This will be my third pirate software game jam and I’m super excited! The double theme last time really threw a wrench in my plans, I ended up over planning and under delivering so I’m hoping I can come up with a solid idea quickly this time! Good luck to all who enter 🙂

Might participate again, if I have the time. And this time, I have a MIDI controller and a real DAW. Time to polish up my GDScript once more and see what comes up.

I don't think I will be participating in this, but I will definitly be stealing that GDD template for my own project, thank you!

Oh so tempting to craft a prototype brawler, And have it be an original ip to expand upon later. Only prior experience being a wip Doom Total Conversion project. It'll take a montage to pull off, Got to think on it

Wonder if it’s possible to gift a friend the GameMaker key I get since I use Godot - this is in the slim chance I win though. Can’t wait to start!

Thanks for putting on these game jams and putting out so many resources. I started playing with godot this weekend and I'm legitimately having a ton of fun just wiring up some basic characters and objects.

I don't have the slighest clue what I am going to build, but I have a design document that I continuously updated across the last 10 years and I really want to make a game before I pass away. So... I hope you'll have patience with the newcomer. 😅

I believe in you. If you haven't already, join the discord and try and find a group. A lot of people haven't got the experience or knowledge (myself included), and that's ok. This is the time to learn and put something out into the world that you can call yours. Good luck!

I think I entered, but dropped out again. It'd be good to do something visual after working in pure code for months, but the GDD requirement, plus other IRL things, are putting me off. I haven't written a GDD in a few years, actually.

I wonder how many malware submissions we will get this year. Go easy on Thor, he's just trying to do good for folks and spread creativity and productivity. Also, I look forward to seeing what cool stuff comes out of this game jam this year. 😀
