Merrick Garland appointing Jack Smith in November 20202, after midterms, will remain mind boggling and potentially fatal t our democracy: "Remember that coup from *two years ago*? We're now going to start our studious process of investigation." Smith should've been appointed on Jan. 21, 2021

This was leaked before J6, which is a response I've gotten about 300 times. However, Biden leaked this while Trump and Rudy and 85% of the Republican Party were very publicly bragging about how they were trying to overthrow the 2020 results.

Garland was investigating inside the doj. It looks like a bad decision in hindsight. I'm guessing Biden and team told them to stick to the letter of the law. Stay independent. You know.. the exact opposite of trump. It needed to not look like revenge on an ex president. They pulled in smith

The whole f’n thing was on live tv! There was never any need for a years long investigation. Trump should have been charged within a week. The two year delay gave the S.Ct. the time to work up the nerve to come up with their bullshit immunity decision. It’s all on Garland, and Biden for letting him.
