T wants to replicate Putin's kleptocracy in the US: he and the billionaires will run the US to their own advantage, just like the Russian oligarchs do. MAGA love him no matter what he does - so he's on his way already. Funny how 'drain the swamp' has become 'bow down to the creatures of the swamp'.

Impoundment means if SCOTUS doesn't do their job or POTUS ignores a TRO or CO, it's the fucking end of the Republic. TODAY. You're trying to put a bandaid on a chest wound. Either the military or armed insurrection is the only way to fix a constitutional crisis. So how can you help?

This reminded me of an old Balkan fable: A priest is drowning in the river. Villagers spot him and try save him: “Father, give us your hand”. He refuses and continues drowning. A quick-witted villager thinks and says “Father, here, take my hand!”. The priest does and gets pulled out of the river.

Why pick on poor JD? The invasion of Crimea happened on Obama's watch; the fighting in eastern UA continued under Trump 1.0 and Biden. Biden refused to allow the Ukrainians to use long-range weapons inside Russia until it was way too late (Nov 2024), instead of as soon as the invasion happened.

In retrospect, bad decisions were made by Democrats. Obama left the Crimea annexation unopposed. No sanctions or asset forfeitures. Compared to that, Trumpkinhead's desire to be king(or dictator for life) is orders of magnitude worse. Angry at Democrats, enraged by Trumpkinhead.

And yet: UA has used those weapons. There has been no escalation. There is no way that Putin can be stopped without significant NATO support and without the damage UA has done to the Russian navy and weapons depots and storage facilities deep inside Russia
