@profgalloway.com keep in mind that Starlink is one of his companies that relies are govt contracts - the others SpaceX and The Boring Company are also privately held and venture backed. In order to increase his fortunes and those of VC backers these cos need govt contracts.

Ford should try putting out a tender call. That money he agreed to pay Starlink would surely generate some interest with the telcos.
