Scott, how about adding companies to your list that one should use. I understand to avoid f.e. Home Depot and Lowe’s for the reasons you mentioned, but should I go to ACE Hardware instead?

I’ve been buying secondhand from small sellers on ebay for years now… there’s very little you can’t find there, it often puts dollars back into communities, and it cuts out fascism-funding supply chain actors. Resellers often ship in used packaging, too-so no U-Line, fewer emissions, etc.

Shop local and mom and pop establishments if possible, read books and cancel streaming services, yes these little sacrifices will go along way to help your bottom line,if consumers don’t spend their money with these BIG tech companies they and their shareholders will pay attention. #1 cancel facebook

Zuckerberg watched as his tech and algorithm sent Myanmar into a genocide just as he saw what it did to young American girls and chose to ignore it. Come to think of it, after the Epstein releases, that’s also stating to make way more sense now.

If unsubscribing is more than you are prepared to do, limiting your usage, your purchases--looking for alternatives at a level you can sustain. EVERY....LITTLE....BIT....HELPS make a difference.

I worked years ago for a global corp here in the US. I had access to their archives. Shoved away in a pile of papers in a cabinet was an invoice from their Germany plant back in the 30s. At the bottom was PRINTED…Heil H—- w/a swastika. It was part of their standard invoice template.

@indivisible.org 💯 To effectively fight the #trumpregime, we must have a multi-prong approach that includes the enablers who empower him, e.g Big Tech/Business. It'll be a bit challenging, but worthwhile. As of tomorrow I will #ResistandUnsubscribe #StandUp #SpeakUp #BeHeard #ACLU

YES!!! The enormous task to market this alone will fail. It is SO important to get the other RESIST groups to be involved. A massive marketing campaign is desperately needed all across the US. It would be something if Hollywood could produce a 30 spot for the Super Bowl. Now we're talking!! ☮️

I unsubscribed from Amazon. Hasn’t been bad at all. Crazy thing is - ya don’t need most of the junk they are selling you. Spend your money on experiences. Spend time out of doors w ppl.

Amazon makes most of its profits from AWS, not its retail selling. Odds are about a third of ALL online activity you still do is leveraging AWS in some way, from finance to travel to insurance to you name it. Cancelling Prime won’t do shit to Amazon.

Now this is the kind of resistance that people need to be pursuing, including us non-Americans. Get off American tech, use open source alternatives w/ ethical objectives where possible. Support tech at home. The only language these people and their allies speak is money. Hit 'em where it hurts.
