Replace "Boeing 737s" with "empty warehouses" and you've got the same play that DHS under Noem pulled. And a source on background told us in February the sales were meant to help well-connected Trump affiliates offload industrial properties that were liabilities on their books.

I truly believe the plan as it stood in February, and which appears to have been initialized around November 2025, was a mad scramble to spend money and line pockets, feasibility be damned. What DHS is doing now — buying prisons and building new ones — was what ERO has always wanted to do.
