He actually said she had "antagonized" her husband and knew he would react. The other officer told her abused women are right to leave. His mom was 1.

The state's legislature is a GOP majority so one knows that they will vote the "thoughts & prays" and the "a good guy w/ a gun stops a bad guy w/ a gun" bills into law.

Of course it does. When rules are written by men, victims of domestic violence aren't a consideration.

I got out of that shithole state about six years ago, and it was the best decision I ever made.

Is there anything that can be done to protect victims?? I don't live in Tennessee, but do have relatives there. Domestic violence is something I am very passionate about stopping for many reasons. I believe it's the true epidemic in our society.
