Machines switching votes, fewer polling places and long ballots can all be defeated by voting early.

My ballot was mailed last week, and I have been notified that it is now in the hands of the appropriate officials in my state. Use your power - vote, and vote early. If only so you don't have to pay attention to the ads anymore. 😀

"We need to get rid of electronic voting machines; I simply don’t trust them. When voter turnout is high, #Democrats win elections; when it’s low, #Republicans win. Have a plan, know who you’re voting for, and vote early. Don’t wait until Election Day in case something happens and you can’t.

It happen to both my friend and I in Austin on Monday. Same location, different machines. We both got them to work finally but you have to use caution, and read your ballots after printing to ensure it is accurate. It's easy to scan down the line for all the Ds.

You Sir. are absolutely right. So far everyone registered to vote in my family has voted is less than 15 minutes. As Tommy Smothers said "Get out and vote for the "bleep" of your choice". VOTE EARLY VOTE YOUR FUTURE

They only stack obstacles in front of voters who scare them. Every shuttered polling place is a confession. Vote early and make their whole suppression operation burn money for nothing.

He’s got it exactly right. Why wait, suffer long lines, take the risk that your vote won’t be cast accurately or even counted! VOTE EARLY, VOTE TODAY and oh yes, if you have a drop box available to you, use it so USPS doesn’t fuck with your ballot.

They were offering paper or machine ballots at my polling place in Maryland this morning. I voted a paper ballot just to make sure it wasn’t switched.

On Wednesday I took my 44 year old Son who had intestinal surgery eight days ago to vote early. It took us less than 15 minutes. When walking out, I said let’s take a selfie of the day we flipped Texas blue. Vote early and check your ballot. Today is Election Day. Start voting.

I am one of those that end up taking up a bit of time. There were four officials, two of them from different parties who had to observe my voting because the audio on their machine wasn't working. 🤷‍♀️ Then The two parties had to guide me over to the ballot box so I could drop it in the slot.

I live in NY and have the paper ballot that selects the candidate by blacking out the circle next to the name. When we submit the vote,it says it was accepted. How do I know if it was submitted correctly? I’m nervous now. My state is blue but I live in a MAGA area.

Maybe the US needs to adopt the ballot system we use here in the UK. Our ballots are submitted on paper where we write an X against our preferred candidate’s name. The paper ballots are then manually counted and double counted under strict supervision. No option for tech to sway the vote.

I would argue it is all relative: the larger the electorate, the more polling stations and more people doing the counting. I doubt it would take months. UK electorate is circa 45million. We get the results by the morning after the ballot. US should be able to do the same due to the relative nature.

But the Republican party has caused the elimination of many polling places in some states so the fewer places to vote means more voters piling up at each one or people won't vote if they have to travel to do so. I hope everyone will try to vote early any way they can. Each state has different rules.

Only if if every polling place could afford to pay all those extra people. Unfortunately, they don’t. They’ve been using fewer people because of budget cuts. It stinks, but that how it is.

I’ve been voting since 1969 Never heard this much clatter about voting fraud before Trump came along I agree about the long, stupid ballots; it was easy, I voted Only for candidates with a “ D”next to their name Checked my ballot twice to assure it was nice; no flaws seen fed it to the machine

My daughter’s mail-in was rejected for her signature, which is exactly the same as when she signed it a year ago. Detroit.
