My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

It was a privilege to spend a fascinating evening in the bar listening to these two reminiscing about their Somerset days. Botham’s glass was bigger…

Some memories become treasures we carry in our hearts forever. Little smiles, warm hugs, and precious moments that pass too quickly but stay with us forever. The sweetest treats in life are the memories we make with the people we love most. Life moves fast, but beautiful memories last forever.

Absolutely stunning! 🤩 The craftsmanship and detail in Peterborough Cathedral are truly breathtaking. What an incredible piece of architecture! I’d love to see it in person someday.

We use sprouting lids that fit on top of mason jars, but these aren't needed. Just poke holes in the container of your choice to get the same effect.

WATCH: "I do not remember voting on that." 🧐 Republican Rep. Sherrell doesn't remember co-sponsoring a bill that DESTROYED THE HEMP INDUSTRY IN TENNESSEE - which TN Republicans did for alcohol lobbyists. Unreal. Samantha Petit (asking the Q) is running against him in Warren & White Counties

The civil rights act prohibits employers from discriminating against individuals because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin which is a government mandate that institutions must hire individuals because of race, color, religion, sex, and national origin to demonstrate compliance.

I love this little guy and would use him to visit my neighbors on the road.

As Ukrainians endure Russian attacks, Colorado stands with their safety, freedom, and democracy. Our sister-state partnership with Ukraine’s Volyn region strengthens ties through education, culture, and trade. The people of Ukraine deserve a peaceful future, free from Russian aggression.

Our state has a sacred obligation to care for those who served. Today we delivered on that obligation with an effective end to veteran homelessness.

Protecting women and children from abuse should never be a partisan issue. Anyone who commits abuse must be held accountable under the law, regardless of their political affiliation. But making sweeping accusations against an entire group of people without evidence only fuels division. Let’s stan..

Another one of Trump's worshipers whose believe is harm women and little girls for any reason in any way. Abuse the little one and older ones, beat them rape them etc... Trump leads the party from hell. Remember this attacker!!!

Accountability and the rule of law must always come first. No one in government should use violence to boost their political standing or make a spectacle of human suffering. Justice must be guided by facts, the law, and constitutional principles, not political theater.

Public executions create perverse incentives for jackals like Hegseth to target individuals for spectacular acts of violence in the name of self-aggrandizement and polling boosts. The latest in @atrupar.com's PN by @nberlat.bsky.social: open.substack.com/pub/aaronrup...

Trump has always put America first, and no amount of media spin will change that! Visiting Moscow in 1987 doesn’t prove someone is loyal to Russia. Judge a leader by his actions, not by accusations and selective narratives. We need strong leadership, secure borders, peace through strength.

In 1987 Trump visited Moscow. Since then, "He has changed his mind about abortion and crypto, he has supported different political parties, but his dislike of America’s democratic allies and his preference for Russia have remained remarkably consistent." www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/1...

Trump's foreign policy is not isolationist. On the contrary, his ideologues want to build an international empire run by far-right political movements who serve American crypto, mineral and tech companies, many with links to the president. Read more here: www.theatlantic.com/magazine/202...

Looking back at pictures like this reminds me how quickly childhood passes and how precious these little moments really are. Being their dad is one of the greatest blessings of my life. I may not be able to stop time, but I’ll always treasure the memories we make along the way.

Every smile, every conversation, and every season of life leaves a little piece of itself in our hearts. I’m thankful for the people who have been part of my journey and for the memories that time can never take away. Cherish your people, appreciate the moments, and always make room for gratitude 🙏🏻

Some moments become priceless memories. Life moves quickly, but the love we share with our family is what truly lasts. Cherish the little moments, hold your loved ones close, and never take a single day together for granted. Family is one of life’s greatest blessings. #Family #Love #Blessings

Trump's own inner circle shocked by public execution plan: report

dlvr.itTrump's own inner circle shocked by public execution plan: reportPresident Donald Trump's own inner circle was shocked by the news that he had signed off on Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth's order of public execution against Nidal Malik Hassan. It's America's first public execution in nearly a century. "The idea seemed to shock even some of his colleagues in the administration," reported The New York Times' Peter Baker on Friday. "Vice President JD Vance cast doubt that it would be livestreamed, telling reporters that “I don’t know that that’s going to happen” and adding that he would not watch if it does." Baker added, "But Mr. Trump said he signed off on it. 'Did I approve' he said. 'Absolutely I did.'" He pointed out that "no public execution has been conducted in the United States in 90 years, and the decision to conduct this one in front of an audience would put the country in the company of Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea and Somalia." Baker also quoted a Republican lawmaker who, though outgoing, retains influence within the president's party in the Senate. "Even some supporters of capital punishment flinched at the idea of livestreaming Mr. Hasan’s execution, calling it medieval and barbaric," Baker reported. "'Hasan should face the death penalty, but making his execution public and streaming it? Beyond disgusting,' said Senator Thom Tillis, Republican of North Carolina. 'Public executions are what oppressive dictatorships like Iran and Afghanistan do. It should not be happening in America.'" Hasan murdered 13 people and injured 32 others at a military base in Fort Hood in Texas in 2009. The outrage also came from conservatives and military professionals outside of the administration. On Thursday Billy Binion, reporter for the libertarian magazine Reason Magazine, wrote on X that “this is sick. You can support justice for Nidal Hasan’s victims without making his execution a source of entertainment. This administration so often governs for the online mob. It’s depraved.” Glenn Greenwald, formerly of The Intercept and sometimes sympathetic to Trump, declared that “there are a very small number of countries that still carry out public executions. Those are the countries we are constantly told are uniquely primitive, barbaric, sick and evil. It’s revealing that Pete Hegseth wants the US to join that group but also entirely unsurprising.” A retired intelligence officer, Travis Akers, argued that "this is vile. Does he deserve the death penalty? One million times yes and may he rot in h - - -. Should this be streamed for entertainment like the Romans throwing Christians to lions? Absolutely not." Other mental health experts who spoke with AlterNet described Trump as a "maniac" who appeals to racism and sexism.
