Per @rivertam.bsky.social, you can’t abolish ICE because it’ll scare the hoes. The more politically palatable option is to “reform” ICE so they have 0 mandate & move them to the basement à la Milton in Office Space. This functionally abolishes them, but turns the fight into a boring org chart debate

Loudly Abolishing ICE (& later recreating a new immigration agency from scratch so you are rid of a toxic culture & all the worst agents) could very well be a landslide winning position by 2028. Defunding them should be in 2026 at this rate
