Yeah, they implemented it a while back because the AI filter was shit for actually flagging furry porn hahah

yeah when i first joined they were trying to do it automatically (and failing) but then i turned off all the things that hide it for me and haven't really thought about it since. never noticed that (admittedly very dark and hard to see) shield pop up. thanks!

Generally, yes. You might still see some NSFW stuff crop up from time to time if someone fails to tag and the AI doesn't catch it, though.
