lot of traction from my respectable anti-ai mutuals. heads up that this was made with an ai app builder.

i made a website you can animate on! a bit buggy.. but it works.. lmk what yall think! ginyo.space/celstomp

op i get you're well-meaning but a lot of the artists you're trying to help are not into this kind of thing.

I understand, thats why i made it free, im admittedly too stupid to code a website from scratch and too impatient to sit through a freecodecamp lesson (but im trying to now slowly!) But its there for whoever needs it, and i dont plan to monetize it

i sat for a long time thinking about how to respond to this because it upset me in a certain way that i did not want to risk miscommunication by spitting something out in the heat of the moment.

i will open by very bluntly saying that i simply do not care how stupid or impatient you think you are. my point was not and is not "you are smarter than this, you should have more patience than this," because the reality is there are more options than "do it yourself or use AI."

you state that you value human creativity and learning—thus you should understand that we need to stay away from using LLMs to fill in gaps in our work. it strips human creativity from whatever we make and it handicaps our ability to learn new things. worse yet, it dissolves our sense of community.

as someone who is also learning coding. I highly suggest getting instead into OdinProject instead as it helps teach how to make a website with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. We'll get there but try not to rely on AI as a junior dev, how it codes sometimes gives bad habits.

I understand, thank you for the info! Yeah im going into coding from an art background so i have 0 experience with code, thank you for the recomendation ill try to be better at it
