Tonight I picked up a new roguelike #indiegame and it really surprised me. Hungry Horrors! It's a game about fending off creatures of British Isles mythology by tossing food at them, matching their tastes and cravings, and building huge combo chains. It all works super well!

There's a real "less is more" approach here. Ya' build some looping chains of flavors, numbers get big. Nothing super complicated, but it's surprisingly satisfying. The charm comes in the fun dialogue and a codex that gets surprisingly in-depth with the real life lore of the dishes and monsters!
