I've always thought a "my first city management" Bowser game that takes place right after the ending of a Mario game where Bowser and Jr. have to rebuild the Koopa kindgom would be a perfect Nintendo take on the genre the way Pikmin was for RTS games. Call it "Bowser & Son" Print money! 💰

You could gather resources by having Hulk/Bananza/Crackdown bits in-between the city building where Bowser reeks havoc on classic Mario environments. Essentially make a Bowser ActRaiser! People would go wild for it AND it'd fill a current hole in Nintendo's catalog of franchises.
