I'm old enough to remember how the outraged republicans ran Al Franken out of the senate over a very stupid staged photo. It's ok for 🤡 to commit sexual assault but Dems held to much higher bar. Franken is highly intelligent and was a great senator. GOP feared him and I wish he had stayed.

What bothers me the most is the claim that Kimmel lied. First,he never said the shooter was MAGA. Second, comedy is about exaggeration which can be perceived a lying. Third, even if yiu assume all that, nobody knew about the shooter at the time. So its his opinion.

America needs a hit song on the charts that explicitly calls out Trump. Something catchy that is inescapable and becomes a touchstone to future discussions of this era. I'm thinking of CSNY's "Ohio" as an exemplar here.

I wonder what happens with SNL now….That’s all they do is mock whoever is in office. New show starts up in 2 weeks.. it’s NBC too. So far he’s only gone after CBS and ABC…. This could be it. 👎🤮

I hope to Hell they don’t mess with SNL. I’ve watched it since its inception. My hope is that Kimmel and Colbert host and all the Late Night Comedians are present! They can parody the current orange shit stain like crazy!
