I picked up two of my original art pieces that had been custom framed. I had never seen, something I made, professionally framed. It took my breath away... like I was seeing them for the first time as an Observor instead of a Creator. #oilpainting #framedart #fineart #arizonaartist #southwestart

#musicchallenge #SeptemberMusicChallenge #ChurchofRock #RyansMonthlyConfessional It's been a while. I figured I would add my own spin to the Music Challenge Mayhem of BlueSky, because why not? I have had a Spotify Channel for a long time called Church of Rock, hence Ryan's Monthly Confessional.

You see art specials, documentaries, well-written articles, that explain: the artist was going through this incredible tragedy, and you look at the work, and stand memorized. What is happening in my life right now is more painful than I have the skill to paint. I do not want to paint peppers.

😬

This is only the beginning. He has no plans to leave office or allow free elections. Nor are his plans hidden—they're all unfolding in plain sight. The Insurrection never ended and the Christofascists won't stop until our democracy is gone. Choose who you'll be in this moment.

Thomas Massie: “Today is the six month anniversary of the Epstein Transparency Act. We’ve taken out two dozen CEOs, an ambassador, a prince, a prime minister, a minister of culture, that was just six months. I’ve got seven months left in Congress.” video courtesy @acyn.bsky.social

The Fourteenth Amendment, written in the blood of the Civil War, says in Section 4 that this is blatantly illegal: “[N]either the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States.”

Im only voting for athiests from now on. If that isn't an option I will vote for the least religious candidate in any given race. Because fuck this shit..

When I met with BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA a couple of weeks ago, I wish I had asked him to show me his VERY WELL made HOLLYWOOD MASK that he wore to sometimes do press conferences while impersonating "Joe Biden"!! Everyone now knows that. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MISSED OPPORTUNITY.

BREAKING: Minnesota has INDICTED ICE officer Christian Castro in the non-fatal shooting of Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis. 4 counts of assault & 1 count of lying. This is the SECOND ICE officer charged by the Hennepin County DA. No charges yet for the murders of Good and Pretti. www.pbs.org/newshour/nat...

FUCK OFF MARK CUBAN

Stephen Colbert and David Letterman throwing things off the Ed Sullivan Theater. Colbert: “Anything you’d like to say, Dave?” Letterman: “In the words of the great Edward R. Murrow to CBS: ‘Good night and good luck, motherfuckers.’”

Mark Zuckerberg built a massive data center in Georgia just hundreds of yards from people’s homes. Now the water pressure is gone. Sinks don’t run. Toilets won’t refill. Homes shake nonstop. Power outages are routine.

“The supreme court betrayed Black voters, they betrayed America, and they betrayed our democracy.” - Barack Obama

I think this is 100% correct.

Follow the money. #TrumpCorruption

If Melania wants Jimmy Kimmel fired for hateful rhetoric, someone should introduce her to her husband

Tell me again that shit wasn’t staged.

I have so many questions.

Worth remembering…

He's the worst thing that ever happened to America. I despise him BECAUSE I love my country. 🇺🇸

IMPEACH. CONVICT. IMPRISON.

Wonder what the president will make worse today.

You gotta give to the GOP. They trained their voters to hate “libs” so much they would gratefully accept every manner of corruption, lawlessness, cruelty, ineptitude, and criminality, and cheer it on, so long as it is their team doing it.

This👇🏼. AOC is the only one stating it clearly and plainly. Do I have any faith that the American people will ever elect a woman president someday? No. I hope I’m proven wrong.

He is correct. It is right-wing news saying one outlandish thing after another to get stoopid people to agree and educated to debate. Causing debate and division. "Left wing news" spends its time countering with overly polite reporting, not to offend right wingers.

Everyone please welcome CBS News Immigration Analyst Viktor Orban.

Did some #oilpainting today. First, the three images show the #paintcoach method which is to paint in three main stages. Simplify. Shape. Sharpen. The final image is my final #oilout step on this completed painting. GUACAMOLE 5x7 oil on linen panel DESERT FRAGILITY 9x12 oil on canvas panel

Victor Orbán’s removal sends a timely signal. Corrupt kleptocratic Christian nationalism was on the ballot in Hungary today — just as it will be on the ballots that Americans will cast in November. It was repudiated abroad — may it be repudiated here in November (and beyond).

When he launched this war, the President vowed regime change and “unconditional surrender.” What has he gotten? We went from Ayatollah Khamenei to Ayatollah Khameini Jr. - and are now negotiating over a 10-point plan written by the Iranians.

The question the entire world is asking. 😳👇

The more I think about the 70,000 ICE incarcerated without due process the more I think we are underreacting. People are literally trapped inside for profit prisons. We need to do something.
